I'm a few days late to the party, but apparently Kendrick Lamar put on an amazing performance at SNL last weekend. This live take of his new single "i" is intense! Lamar is ferocious and precise, the band is seriously funky, and the backup singers wail. It's like watching evidence of musical evolution: James Brown to Prince to this.
